The Role:
The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving monthly revenue targets selling Digital Marketing Services (SEO, PPC, Social Media, Brand reputation and Web Development). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a pro-active approach to controlling and managing the entire sales cycle – generating relevant leads, qualification and closing. This is a self-managing role but Senior Management will provide support where required.
Duties:
- Identify and qualify genuine sales leads, maintaining accurate CRM records
- Demonstrate knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media marketing and web development principles
- Schedule and attend sales meetings
- Demonstrate industry knowledge and identify prospect business objectives
- Prepare presentations for sales meetings with prospects
- Qualify and report on business and financial aspects of opportunities
- Brief Senior Management with business and financial information for producing quotes
- Write business proposals tailored to prospect requirements
- Negotiation and closing
- Provide industry updates and prospect insights to Senior Management for improving sales processes
Skills Required:
- Strong marketing knowledge, preferably online or digital
- Strong business acumen
- Tenacious, self-starter and resourceful Excellent phone manner
- Microsoft Office with strong presentational skills
- Excellent business writing skills
- Rapport building up, down and across with colleagues and prospects
- Concise business reporting of sales pipeline during company meetings
- Consultative sales approach with short sales cycles (1-2 months)
- University education preferably in business or marketing will be considered a bonus
- UK experience
