The role:

The Social Media Marketing Manager will be responsible for strategy and socialization of our client’s online content. Familiarity with the internet, social media sites, search engines, discussion boards, blogs, video sharing sites and podcasting is an asset but a willingness to learn is essential. The ability to find solutions in order to generate measurable results for clients is necessary as well as the generation of reports on those efforts. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills in order to write and edit high quality content.


  • Manage social media properties (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), including daily monitoring, posting, and content development
  • Coordinate and implement social media marketing communication projects with responsibilities that include social media advertising and creating brand awareness online
  • Initiate conversation through forums, twitter and postings
  • Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of social media programs, and analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results
  • Regularly share feedback and insights gained from social media monitoring with clients, to help them evolve their strategies in a timely fashion
  • Monitor social media channels for latest trends, keeping company on cutting edge

Skills required:

  • Marketing agency background (at least 1 year)
  • A passion for writing
  • Familiar with standard marketing concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Strong understanding of social networking and social media marketing
  • Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
  • Familiar with blogging, social media efficiency tools, and is active on at least one social media profile site
  • Knowledge of Photoshop and editing
  • Extremely social & creative
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
